Leadership

 Antonio G. Lopez, Principal & CEO, brings a strong background in both public and private sector experience. He has served the architectural and engineering industry since 1998, leading major architectural and transportation projects nationally. He holds extensive experience in commercial buildings, multifamily developments, high-speed rail, and transportation and venue planning for the Olympic Games.

As a dedicated public servant, Antonio was first appointed to the Planning and Preservation Commission in the City of San Fernando, where he later served three terms on the San Fernando City Council, beginning in December 2011. Antonio served as Mayor from 2012 to 2014 and as Vice Mayor in 2012 and from 2017 to 2018 during his tenure on the Council.

Antonio brings 27 years of private sector and 12 years of public sector experience to AGL Group. He is a graduate of Woodbury University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1998. In addition to his private and public sector experience, Antonio has been committed to board service, including:

  • The Valley Economic Alliance
  • San Fernando Valley Metro Service Council
  • Southern California Council of Governments, Regional Council District #67, San Fernando and Santa Clarita

 Arvind Joshi PE, Principal & Executive Vice President, brings 40 years of experience in transportation engineering as a Executive Vice President of Business Development, former Director of Construction, Construction Design Manager, Program Manager, and Project Manager from inception through construction. His combined experience is unique, as he has worked on all sides of the project – as a DBE company, with the design firm, with the contractor, and with the owning agency. He has led highway, rail, and transit projects, provided management design oversight, construction oversight, claim management, risk management, change order specialist, design management, stage construction and traffic management, environmental reviews, and prepared planning studies and managed PSRs, PA&EDs, and PS&Es, scheduled control in both design and construction, and cost control.
 
Arvins’s key agency experience includes LA Metro, Caltrans, and California High-Speed Rail Authority. Arvind worked directly for LA Metro for nearly 4 years, serving in various roles from Senior Engineering Manager to Director of Engineering, where he managed the design for multiple transit projects, including the Orange Line BRT.
